Social Support Contributions to Performance of Prisoners

Objective To investigate the correlation between social support and the prisoner＇s performance.Methods A total of 100 prisoners were assessed with social support rating scale and self-evaluation transformation performance questionnaire,then the correlation between them was analyzed.Results ①There was positive correlation between three dimensions of social support and the good performance of prisoners（P〈0.05）;②There was significant positive correlation between social support and the prisoners＇ performance（P〈0.01）;③The regression equation was significant that social support had impact on the prisoners＇ performance（F=10.46,P〈0.01）.Conclusion The social support degree of the prisoners has significant effect on the performance,especially on the subjective, objective support and the usage to social support in prisoners.While the three dimensions increasing,the prisoners get better predictably.
