| Abstract: | Objective: Effect of Kebikang on concerntration of PGI2、TXA2 in plasma was observed in the diabetic rats. Method: Diabetes was induced by intraperitoneal administration of streptozotocin in the Wister rats. The diabetic rats were randomly divided into two groups: diabetic control group (MD, n=7) and the Kebikang treated group (KBK, n=9). Another group was normal control group (ND, n=13). Result: The concentration of PGI2 in plasma of KBK group was significantly higher than that in MD group (P<0.05) after 2.5 month treated. The concentration of TXA2 in plasma of KBK group was significantly lower than that in MD group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference between ND group and KBK group neither PGI2 or TXA2. Conclusion: The changes of PGI2 and TXA2 in plasma due to streptozotocin-induced diabetes was corrected by KBK. |
