| Abstract: | Abdominal cocoon is a rare abdominal syndrome. It is characterized by total or partial encasement of the small bowel by a thick fibrous membrane, resulting in intestinal obstruction or a soft-tissue-density envelope. The designate, origin, clinical manifestations and imaging findings of abdominal cocoon were reviewed in this article. |
