Effects of whole-process seamless nursing on postoperative pain and parent satisfaction of children in operating room

Objective To explore the effects of whole-process seamless nursing on postoperative pain and parent satisfaction of children in operating room. Methods A total of 104 children in the operating room treated in our hospital from July 2019 to October 2020 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to random number method, with 52 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given whole-process seamless nursing. The FLACC score, adverse reactions, operation related indexes and nursing satisfaction of parents were compared between the two groups. Results At 3 d after operation, the FLACC scores of each dimension in the two groups were lower than those before operation, and those in the observation group were lower than the control group(P <0.05). The incidence of urinary tract infection, pneumonia, incision bleeding, dressing avulsion and accidental extubation in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in intraoperative bleeding between the two groups(P>0.05);the exhaust time, operation time, out of bed activity time and hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P <0.05). The nursing satisfaction of children’s parent of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05). Conclusion The whole-process seamless nursing for children in the operating room is helpful to reduce pain and the incidence of adverse reaction, and improve the nursing satisfaction of parents.
