Clinical effect of phacoemulsification cataract surgery and intraocular lens implantation surgery in the treatment of closed-angle glaucoma complicated with cataract

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of phacoemulsification cataract surgery and intraocular lens implantation surgery in the treatment of closed-angle glaucoma complicated with cataract.Methods A total of 90 patients with closed-angle glaucoma complicated with cataract treated in our hospital from June 2017 to June 2020 were selected as the research objects.The patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group by lot,with 45 cases in each group.The control group was treated with small incision non-phacoemulsification cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation surgery,and the observation group was treated with phacoemulsification cataract surgery and intraocular lens implantation surgery.The treatment effects of the two groups were compared.Results Three months after operation,the intraocular pressure in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the depth of anterior chamber was greater than that in the control group(P<0.05).Three months after operation,the opening of chamber angle in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).Three months after operation,the PSV and EDV in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the RI was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Three months after operation,the MDA and LPO levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the SOD level was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Phacoemulsification cataract surgery and intraocular lens implantation surgery in the treatment of closed-angle glaucoma complicated with cataract has a better effect.It can improve the visual acuity,reduce the intraocular pressure,ameliorate the depth of anterior chamber,opening of chamber angle,hemodynamic indexes and oxidative stress indexes.
