Influence of hypoproteinaemia in patients of severe diabetic ketoacidosis

Objective To objective to explore the influence of hypoproteinaemia in patients presenting with severe diabetic ketoacidosis （DKA）. Methods The records of DKA admissions within 2 years were reviewed.The dates were analyzed by person chi- squared test. Results Among 20 patients,multivariate analysis yielded six variables as significant independent predictors （P〈0.05） ： decreasing time of blood glucose,disappearing time of urinary ketone,urine volume,amount of fluid,amount of insulin,chemosis or not. Conclusion Hypoproteinemia is a risk factor of severe diabetic ketoacidosis.
