老年钙化性心脏瓣膜病与颈动脉粥样硬化关系的探讨

目的　 探讨老年人心脏瓣膜钙化与颈动脉粥样硬化的关系。　 方法 　对 5 5例老年钙化性心脏瓣膜病患者作双侧颈动脉超声检查及相关因素分析并与 3 0例年龄匹配的非瓣膜钙化者进行比较。　 结果　老年钙化性心脏瓣膜病患者颈动脉IMT与粥样斑块阳性率明显高于非瓣膜钙化组 (P <0 0 1)。高血压、糖尿病、高血脂症与心脏瓣膜钙化有显著相关性 (P <0 0 1)。　 结论 　心脏瓣膜钙化与颈动脉粥样硬化密切相关 ,易患因素相似。提示心脏瓣膜钙化与老年动脉粥样硬化可能具有相似发病机制。

Association of cardiac valvular calcification with carotid artery atherosclerosis in elderly patients

Objective To discuss the relationship of cardiac valvular calcification with carotid artery atherosclerosis in elderly patients. Methos A group of 55 elderly patients with cardiac valvular calcification were examined with color Doppler ultrasound,by which the intima-media thickness (IMT) and the atherosclerotic plaques of carotid artery were measured and compared with another group of 30 patients without cardiac valvular calcification. Results (1)Most of the 55 cases of cardiac valvular calcification developed carotid artery atherosclerotic plaques,and the occurrence rate was 78.18%,which was obviously higher than that of the cardiac valvular noncalcification cases.(2)In the group of cardiac valvular calcification there were 36 patients with hypertension,21 patients with diabetes and 24 patients with hypercholesteremia;in valvular noncalcification group,5 patients with hypertension,2 patients with diabetes and 3 patients with hypercholesteremia.The difference between the two groups was remarkable. Conclusions The correlation of cardiac valvular calcification and the diseases,such as hypertension,diabetes,etc indicated that the pathologic mechanism of cardiac valvular calcification was the same as that of atheroscleorsis.
