Effects of Danggui Buxue Recipe on Cardiac Function and Serum IL-6 and NT-proBNP After Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting

Objective To analyze the effects of Danggui Buxue recipe on cardiac function,serum interleukin-6(IL-6)and N-terminal pro brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)after coronary artery bypass grafting.Methods 50 patients with coronary heart disease who underwent coronary artery bypass grafting in the cardiothoracic surgery of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of traditional Chinese medicine from February 2017 to February 2019 were randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 25 cases in each group.The patients in the control group received routine treatment after operation,and the observation group took Danggui Buxue decoction on the basis of the treatment of the control group Therapy.After 6 months of treatment,the clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome score,cardiac function,IL-6,NT proBNP and TNF-αand adverse reactions were compared.Results After treatment,the TCM symptom score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(10.25±5.91 vs 16.30±6.25),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total clinical effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(96.00%vs 76.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD)and left ventricular end systolic diameter in the observation group were significantly higher(LVESD)was lower than that in the control group(53.13±5.24,46.15±4.32 vs 56.28±5.64,46.15±4.32),while the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)was higher than that in the control group(54.75±9.45 vs 48.56±9.05),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,serum IL-6,NT-proBNP and tumor necrosis factor-αwere lower than the control group(132.56±34.45,719.42±103.56,10.24±2.89 vs 163.89±50.13,954.87±116.88,16.35±3.56)(P<0.05).There were no obvious adverse reactions in both groups,and the liver function test was normal.Conclusion Danggui Buxue recipe can significantly improve the cardiac function and reduce the inflammatory reaction of patients after coronary artery bypass grafting,with high safety and significant clinical therapeutic effect.
