| Abstract: | Objective To explore the impact of blood purification on serum inflammatory cytokines and prognosis of patients with severe sepsis.Methods 50 patients with severe sepsis admitted to our hospital from July 2018 to November 2019 were selected and randomly divided into the basic group(basic treatment,25 cases)and the intervention group(basic treatment combined with blood purification treatment,25 cases).The levels of serum inflammatory cytokines before and after treatment and the prognosis were compared between two groups.Results After 3 days of treatment,the levels of CRP,PCT,TNF-αand IL-6 in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the levels of CRP,PCT,TNF-αand IL-6 of intervention group were significantly lower than those of basic group(P<0.05).The prognosis of intervention group was significantly better than that of basic group(P<0.05).Conclusions Blood purification can effectively reduce the level of serum inflammatory cytokines and improve the prognosis of patients with severe sepsis. |
