Analysis on Application Effect of Nursing Intervention Based on Orem Self-Care Theory in Patients with Aortic Dissection

Objective To analyze the application effect of nursing intervention based on Orem self-care theory in patients with aortic dissection.Methods 160 patients with aortic dissection admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to December 2019 were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 80 cases in each group.Both groups were given interventional treatment of aortic dissection.The control group received routine nursing intervention,and the observation group received nursing intervention based on Orem self-care theory.The ability of daily living before and after intervention and the complications were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention,the ADL scores of the two groups were higher than those before intervention,and the ADL score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.50%,lower than 11.25%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Nursing intervention based on Orem self-care theory can effectively improve the ability of daily living of patients with aortic dissection,and reduce the postoperative complications.
