Effect of Laparoscopic Total Vaginal Hysterectomy in the Treatment of Uterine Fibroids and Its Impact on Postoperative Rehabilitation

Objective To explore the effect of laparoscopic total vaginal hysterectomy in the treatment of uterine fibroids and its impact on postoperative rehabilitation.Methods 80 patients with uterine fibroids in our hospital from April 2017 to April 2020 were selected and divided into two groups according to different surgical procedures,with 40 patients in each group.The study group was treated with laparoscopic total vaginal hysterectomy,while the control group was treated with conventional open surgery.The clinical efficacy and postoperative rehabilitation were compared between the two groups.Results The amount of intraoperative blood loss,postoperative exhaust time,postoperative ambulation time and hospitalization time of the study group were significantly less than those of the control group,the incidence of complications was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the VAS score after treatment was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Laparoscopic total vaginal hysterectomy in the treatment of uterine fibroids can reduce patients’amount of intraoperative blood loss,reduce the incidence of complications,and accelerate postoperative rehabilitation.
