Abstract:Objective: To study the expression differences of the bone metabolism-related gene in the steroid-induced osteonecrosis by using gene chip technology,to further explore the theory of the molecular mechanism of the osteoporosis pathogenesis.Methods: 20 Wistar rats were randomly divided into control group(n=10) and model group(n=10).Endotoxin and methylprednisolone were used to induce model of femoral head necrosis,the total RNA of femoral head tissue were extracted,to test the expression changes of the bone metabolism-related gene by using DNA microarray.Results: There were nine differentially expressed genes related to bone metabolism between the control group and the model group.(Ratio 2.0).Conclusion: In the process of steroid-induced osteonecrosis,the expression of bone metabolism genes is down-regulated,thereby affecting bone remodeling and cartilage metabolism,leading to osteoporosis.
