The Analysis of Effect of Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy in the Treatment of Advanced Gynecological Malignancies

Objective To investigate the effect of intraperitoneal chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced gynecological malignancies. Methods All the 169 cases of advanced gynecological malignancies were randomly divided into two groups.The 86 cases in the test group received intraperitoneal chemotherapy with cisplatin or carboplatin,doxorubicin,cyclophosphamide;the 83 cases in the control group received PC or PAC regimen chemotherapy.The effect and toxicities of the two groups were evaluated comparatively. Results The operative time,wound healing,postoperative infection,toxicities and postoperative liver and kidney function had no significant differences in the test group and the control group(P>0.05);the postoperative CEA,CA125 in the test group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);the postoperative ascites amount in the test group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Intraperitoneal chemotherapy is effective and safe in the treatment of advanced gynecological malignancies,it can effectively reduce ascites,and it is better than intravenous chemotherapy.
