The Prognosis Analysis of Brain Metastases of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer: Review of 80 Cases

Objective To investigate the prognostic factors of brain metastases of non-small cell lung cancer.Methods The clinical data of 80 patients with brain metastases of non-small cell lung cancer were analyzed retrospectively.Results There was significant difference between the survival time of the patients with primary tumor controlled or not,KPS≥70 or <70,the number of the brain metastases was ≥3 or <3,had nerval function abnormity or not,and the patients received treatment or not(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the patients with outside brain metastases or not and ≥65 years or <65 years(P>0.05).Correlation analysis showed: the survival time of the patients had correlation with KPS,primary tumor controlled or not,the number of brain metastasis tumor and the patients received treatment or not(r=0.624,0.656,0.577,0.524;P<0.05).Conclusion The prognosis of the patients with brain metastases of non-small cell lung cancer is in relation to KPS,primary tumor controlled or not,the number of the brain metastases and the patients received treatment or not.
