ESTABLISH AN EFFECTIVE MECHANISM OF LEARNING AND IMPROVE THE LEVEL OF MEDICAL CODING

Objective Elevate the knowledge level of coder about disease and operation both in rational and in perceptual aspect in order to improve the level of medical coding. Methods Establish effective learning mecha- nism, especially joining the late clinical department business study, watch the code fit to the fuzzy and abstract con- cept of surgery. Results Because the coders have more knowledge and thorough understanding to disease and surger- y, the accuracy of medical coding and handling difficult coding ability increase. Conclusion The effective learning mechanism, especially joining the late clinical department business study, can evidently elevate the coding level of medical record coders.
