| Abstract: | A survey of gamasides on rodents and Insectivora was carried out in Sinan County, Guizhou province in 1988. A total of 5460 and 2418 gamasid mites were collected from 1065 animals and 165 nests respectively. The hosts belonged to 12 species, and gamasid mites belonged to 8 families, 17 genera and 31 species. Four new records in Guizhou province were found: (1) Androlaelaps trifurcatus Wang, 1965; (2) Androlaelaps singularis Wang, 1965; (3) Vulgarogamasus oudemansi (Berlese, 1904); (4) Euryparasitus sp. |
