黄芩提取物的抗炎免疫作用研究

目的:采用几种不同类型的动物模型对黄芩提取物(SBE)的抗炎免疫作用进行研究。方法:采用角叉菜胶致大鼠足肿胀试验作为炎症早期的渗出和肿胀模型,炎症中期的白细胞游走状况通过显微镜下测定小鼠羧甲基纤维素囊中的白细胞数目变化表现,采用大鼠巴豆油性气囊肿的形成试验作为炎症晚期的肉芽肿增生模型;采用碳粒廓清试验来考察SBE对机体非特异性免疫功能的影响。结果:连续灌胃给药5d,SBE(5、10g.kg-1)可以显著抑制角叉菜胶所致的大鼠足肿胀,可以显著减少小鼠羧甲基纤维素囊中白细胞的游出数目,并显著抑制大鼠巴豆油性气囊肿的形成;SBE(0.3、0.6、1.2、2.5、5g.kg-1)连续灌胃15d能显著抑制正常小鼠单核-巨噬细胞的吞噬功能。结论:黄芩提取物是一种具有免疫抑制活性的抗炎药物。

Antiinflammatory and Immunomodulation Effects of the Extract of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi

OBJECTIVE:To study the antiinflammatory and immunomodulative effects of the extract of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi(SBE) in various experimental animal models.METHODS:The experiment of carrageenan-induced paw edema in rats was carried out to build the model of exudation and swelling of early inflammation;for the leukocytoplania model in the intermediate stage of inflammation,the number of WBC in carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC) in mice was measured under microscope;the experiment of the formation of crotonoil-gas cyst in rats was performed to build the granuloma hyperplasia model of the late inflammation;and the effect of SBE on the nonspecific immunity function of body was detected through the experiment on the clearance rate of charcoal particles in normal mice.RESULTS:After intragastric administration for 5 consecutive days,SBE(5,10g· kg-1) markedly inhibited paw edema induced by carrageenin,markedly decrease the number of WBC in leukocytoplania in CMC in mice,and markedly inhibit the formation of croton oil-gas cyst in rats;after intragastric administration for 15 consecutive days,SBE(0.3,0.6,1.2,2.5,5g· kg-1) markedly inhibited the phagocytosis of monocyte of normal mice.CONCLUSION:SBE is a kind of anti-inflammatory agent with immunosuppressive activity.
