脑胶质瘤病

目的 :探讨脑胶质瘤病的临床表现、影像学和病理学特点 ,以提高本病的诊断和治疗水平。　方法 :对本院1 996年至 2 0 0 1年间收治的 5例脑胶质瘤病患者进行回顾性研究。　结果 :该病主要临床表现为进行性颅内压增高和癫反复发作 ,同时伴有不同程度的智力与精神障碍。病理检查示肿瘤细胞广泛浸润大脑半球皮质和髓质 ,主要在血管、神经元周围呈浸润性生长 ,不形成肿瘤团块。影像学检查示病变弥散 ,可侵犯大脑半球 2个或 2个以上的脑叶。 5例患者均行肿瘤切除术 ,经随访 4例术后 1 0个月内死亡 ,1例术后 1 0个月仍生存。　结论 :脑胶质瘤病的诊断可参考临床表现与影像学检查 ,确诊需靠病理学检查

Cerebral gliomatosis

Objectives: To investigate the clinical manifestation, radiological and pathological characteristics of cerebral gliomatosis. Methods:Clinical studies of 5 patients with cerebral gliomatosis (1996-2001) were reviewed retrospectively. Results: The main clinical manifestations of the 5 patients were progressive intracranial hypertension, repeated epileptic attack,accompanied by various degrees of mental retardation and dysphrenia. Histological examination showed that the tumour cells diffusely infiltrate cerebral hemispheres with perivascular and perineuronal collectous, the underlying neuronal architecture was still presented. Radiological examination revealed diffuse lesions involved both grey and white matters, 2 or more regions were invaded in both cerebral hemispheres. All the 5 patients were underwent partially surgical removal of the tumor lesions. The follow up period was from 10 months to 6 years. 4 died and 1 alive after 10 months of the operation. Conclusions: The clinical and radiological features were helpful to suggest the diagnosis of cerebral gliomatosis, however, the confirmation should depend on pathological study.
