The therapeutic value of retinoic acid in chronic discoid, acute guttate, and erythrodermic psoriasis: clinical observations on twenty-five patients

Twenty-five patients with chronic discoid, acute guttate or erythrodermic psoriasis were treated with retinoic acid in various preparations, topical and oral, and the clinical response was observed for up to 3 months. Only four patients showed distinct clinical improvement. The possible side effects of topical retinoic acid therapy are mentioned.
