小鼠对杜氏利什曼原虫中国株易感性及受染小鼠免疫反应的观察

作者用杜氏利什曼原虫中国株感染BALB/c、DBA/1、ICR和615四个品系小鼠,发现此四品系小鼠对该病原体的易感性和受染后的免疫反应各不相同,各品系小鼠受染后分别呈现自愈、潜伏和发病状态,与人群对杜氏利什曼原虫感染的易感性和免疫反应类型相似。

OBSERVATION ON SUSCEPTIBILITIES AND IMMUNE RESPONSES OF FOUR STRAINS OF MICE TO THE INFECTION OF A LEISHMANIA DONOVANI CHINESE STRAIN

The susceptibilities and immune re-sponses of four strains of mice to the infec-tion of a Chinese strain of L. donovani wereinvestigated. DBA/1 mice were highly sus-ceptible to the infection, with a growingheavy load of amastigotes in the livers andspleens for a period of over 210 days, whilespecific antibodies in their sera wereincreasing and no DTH to Leishmaniaantigen developed. In comparison with thenormal control, the number of PFC in thespleens, the DHA titer of the sera and thefootpad DTH to SRBC all decreased in theinfected DBA/1 mice. The parasite burdensin the infected ICR mice were low and theamastigotes disappeared completely within5 month in the existence of the specificantibodies and positive DTH. In the infectedBALB/c mcie, moderate numbers of para-sites coexisted with the specific antibodiesand positive DTH for over 150 days, and sowas the case in the infected 615 mice thoughthe number of amastigotes in the latterwas lower.
