Preoperative hemosorption in cancer patients with mechanical jaundice |

| Abstract: | The study was concerned with postoperative course and dynamics of biochemical indexes for liver function and degree of intoxication in 47 cancer patients suffering mechanical jaundice. The patients received hemosorption preoperatively. Hemosorption was found to significantly increase the efficacy of detoxifying therapy and to contribute to prevention of postoperative complications and lethality. |
