Complex treatment of patients with postburn esophageal stricture

Results of treatment of 136 patients with postburn esophageal stricture were studied. In 1998-2001 yrs. there were treated 77 patients using bougienage and operative method, in 2002-2005 yrs bougienage, balloon dilation, prolonged balloon dilation, insertion of endoprosthesis, operative treatment were performed in 59 patients. Simultaneous application of methods of treatment have guaranteed the excellent and good results obtaining in up to 73% of patients.
