| Abstract: | An 8-year-old boy with cystic fibrosis presented with a chronicpolyarthritis. Histological examination of the synovium demonstratedmultiple non-caseating granulomata. A systematic search forsarcoidosis revealed characteristic ophthalmic abnormalitiesand an elevated serum level of angiotensin converting enzyme.An association between cystic fibrosis and sarcoidosis is likely.
