The nursing intervention about prventing the related peritonitis among patients who have accepted peritoneal dialysis at home

Objective To decrease the incidence rate of related peritonitis among patients who havc accepted peritoneal dialysis at home. Methods Applied the training about peritoneal dialysis, psychological nursing and other related nursing cares among 59 patients who had accpted peritoneal dialysis at home. Follow up the conditon of these patients about the peritonitis. Results There were 6 patients had peritonitis, 2 of them dead. Conclusion Effective nusing intervention can decrease the incidence rate of related peritonitis among patients who havc accepted peritoneal dialysis at home.
