| Abstract: | D+-galactosamine(Gal ) 350mg/kg b,w was injected into abdominal cavity of Wistarrats to induce fulminant hepatic failure.Two groups were treated with the suspensions of freshliver cells prepared from the embryonal liver of Wistar rats and the extract from regeneratlve liverof adult rabbit respectively. The histology and histochemical reaction in liver were observed. Theresults showed that the rabbit liver extract decreascrd hepatocyte necrosis in lobtile,maintained theactivity of AKPdwse in bile canaliculi and apparently promoted hepatocyte multiplication. It alsoobtained higher activity of ANAEase and regained earlier the ability of synthesized glycogen. Theabove siminal alterations were found in the embryonal liver group. The result suggested that boththe preparations may contain hepatic growth facter and so on,they can protect hepatocytes,helpits regeneration andregining of the activity of ases. |
