The Lu(a-b-) Syndrome and an Apparent Upset of P₁ Inheritance

Abstract:	Abstract. The inhibitor gene responsible for the dominant form of Lu(a-b-), called In(Lu) , which also inhibits Au^a, i and P₁, was the cause of an apparent upset in the rules of inheritance of the P system. The same Sardinian kindred also shows In(Lu)to be genetically independent of the P and Yt loci.
