| Abstract: | The efficacy of prednisolone in acute wheezing associated with human bocavirus infection was investigated in 232 hospitalized children (median age, 1.6 years). Clinical history, atopy status, and viral etiology were carefully studied. Outcomes included hospitalization time, duration of symptoms, and occurrence of relapses. No efficacy of prednisolone was found in children with serologically confirmed acute human bocavirus infection. |
