Pycnodysostosis (Report of four Cases)

Four cases of PYCNODYSOSTOSIS - two from India, one from Indonesia and one from Malawi (Africa) are reported. Fractures of the vertebral arches were observed in all our patients and it is suggested that this is a common type of complication in pycnodysostosis if carefully looked for. Spondylolisthesis follows the vertebral arch fractures and is probably a common complication in older patients.
