| Abstract: | Observations on child health and paediatrics made during a three weeks' visit to the USSR are recorded. There are separate health services for children and their organization is outlined, as are the training and career structure of the many thousands of paediatricians employed. Provision for handicapped children is briefly discussed and a few comments are made on social aspects of child care. |
