| Abstract: | A case of this rare exception to the common gross types of hepatocellular carcinoma is reported. The main clinico-pathological findings of this variant are summarized in the light of a review of the relevant literature. Emphasis is placed on the usefulness of the latest diagnostic procedures including echography and CT scans for an increased accuracy of the preoperative clinical diagnosis. |
