| 摘 要： | 阅读在英语学习中的重要作用不言而喻。课堂阅读教学时间有限，要提高英语综合运用能力，课外英语阅读不容忽视。文章以牡丹江医学院2008级不同专业的180名学生为调查对象，采取问卷形式，调查分析了医学生课外英语阅读情况及他们在阅读中存在的问题，探讨如何培养医学生的自主学习能力及一些具体的实施办法。
