| Abstract: | In a case-control study of 212 white patients with primary melanocytic tumors of the iris and two control groups, contingency tables were used to evaluate the distribution of iris color. We found a strong association between light iris color (blue, gray, or green) and the presence of iris melanocytic lesions (P less than .001 by chi 2). |
