| Abstract: | A 58-year-old man has been under our care with an inguinal hernia that has recurred 8 times. This stimulated us to review the biochemistry of wound repair. We studied the composition of his collagen and tried to find out whether it was intrinsically faulty or whether its fault had been caused by the medication he was taken. |
