病媒生物作为重要的传播媒介可以传播多种疾病。上海世博会期间正值病媒生物繁殖高峰期,降低其密度,减少病媒生物性疾病的威胁,成为世博会公共卫生保障的重要环节。通过召开世博会病媒生物控制专家咨询会,接受和采纳了专家建议。并在此基础上,进一步加强对全市各行业病媒生物的检查力度,制定适宜于世博会的各类控制技术文件,同时还加强了对上海市病媒生物控制专业技术人员的应急培训和演练,为世博会公共卫生保障尤其是病媒生物控制打下了坚实基础。
