| Abstract: | A calcified ascending aorta makes coronary bypass surgery more difficult and is a major risk factor for perioperative strokes. We describe a technique in which coronary revascularization is achieved with an in situ right gastroepiploic artery. This approach minimizes manipulation of the diseased aorta. |
