| Abstract: | The prevalence of impaired glucose tolerance and type 2 diabetes mellitus have increased continually. Elevated free fatty acids levels in impaired glucose tolerance and type 2 diabetes mellitus play an important role in development of insulin resistance and pancreas B cell dysfunction. |
