| Abstract: | The vestibular rehabilitation is a safe and effective method for the treatment of vertigo and balance disorders. It is suitable for the non-progressive vestibular diseases caused by peripheral, central and mixed lesions and the balance dysfunction of the elderly. In China, there are numerous patients with dizziness and vertigo. And in the primary hospitals, there are no professional vestibular physical therapists, while neurorehabilitation is broad-based. It is helpful for primary hospitals to carry out vestibular rehabilitation by compiling professional teaching materials, conducting continuing education and training, forming referral linkage with tertiary hospitals, and relying on Internet platform and virtual reality technology. |
