Comparative Analysis of Perioperative Sleep Quality of Different Types of Orthopedic Surgery Patients

Objective:To investigate the comparison and analysis of perioperative sleep quality of different types of orthopedic surgery patients.Methods:A total of 288 orthopedic surgery patients admitted to our hospital from June 2018 to June 2019 were selected,78 of which were joint surgery,74 were cervical spondylosis,70 were upper or lower limb fractures,and 66 were lumbar discs disease.The patient′s sleep quality was tested by the AIS Athens Insomnia Treatment Evaluation Form and the PSQI Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Score System.Results:All patients undergoing orthopedic surgery had higher sleep quality evaluation scores in Pittsburgh during the perioperative period than before hospitalization,and the scores before and after admission were significantly different(P<0.05);59.9%of patients with joint disease and 69.6%of patients with lumbar disease 45.8%of patients with cervical spine disease and 57.5%of patients with limb fractures developed sleep disorders after surgery.Conclusion:In orthopedic clinics,patients will be affected to varying degrees due to different types of surgery during the perioperative period.Therefore,medical staff should provide corresponding preventive and treatment measures for sleep disorders for patients with different types of surgery to help patients improve and improve sleep Quality,speed up the recovery of patients as soon as possible.
