Design of esthetic removable partial denture

Removable partial denture is an effective treat- ment option for partial edentulism but has a problem caused by the exposure of labial or buccal clasp arms during smiling and speaking. Some different esthetic alternatives like attach- ments, imlpants, esthetic clasps, rotational path can satisfy the highly esthetic demands of patients instead of conventional clasps. This article summarized various types of esthetic re- movable partial denture as a reference of clinical application.
