Abstract: | We report the case of a 56-year-old woman with known recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa and an unremarkable ocular history who experienced an extensive corneal epithelial blister during phacoemulsification cataract surgery. To our knowledge, this is the first report of this complication. FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE: No author has a financial or proprietary interest in any material or method mentioned. |
