Abstract:Objective To explore the value of arterial occlusive disease(ASO) in lower extremities CT angiography(CTA) using low tube voltage setting in reducing radiation dose.Methods CTA using low tube voltage setting were performed in 30 patients with ASO.MPR、MIP、CPR,etc were used in the post processing of all image data.CT dose index(CTDI vol) and dose length product(DLP) were recorded,and the effective dose(ED) was calculated.The radiation dose of other 30 patients underwent conventional CTA were analyzed retrospectively and compared with that of the CTA using low tube voltage setting.Results The average effective dose of the CTA using low tube voltage setting was 6.5mSv,while of conventional CTA was 10.51 mSv(P<0.05).Conclusion The CTA using low tube voltage setting can reduce radiation exposure dose obviously,and keep good CTA image quality.
