Application and Refl ection of Artifi cial Intelligence in Quality Evaluation of NewTraditional Chinese Medicine

Objective: To explore the key role of artifi cial intelligence (AI) technology in the fi eld of traditionalChinese medicine (TCM), especially in the quality evaluation of the New Chinese Medicine and promote itsintegration with traditional medicine. Methods: Employing market research and literature query, AI''s functionin dealing with the increasing variety of Chinese medicinal materials and intricate standards of evaluation wasdeeply analyzed. In addition, the specifi c strategies for AI technology to overcome the limitations of traditionalmethodologies and promote the development of the quality assessment system for TCM were explored.Results: The application of AI technology in the quality evaluation of the New Chinese Medicine not onlyheightened therapeutic efficacy but also succeeded in reducing drug-related side effects and overall healthcarecosts. Moreover, the application of artifi cial intelligence within the domain of TCM has become a model of thecombination of modern science and technology and traditional medicine.
