Effect of different dose of gamma globulin in the treatment of Kawasaki disease and the prevention effect on coronary artery disease

Objective To analyze the effect of different doses of gamma globulin in the treatment of Kawasaki disease and the prevention effect on coronary artery disease.Methods Ninety-eight children with Kawasaki disease received and treated in our hospital from June 2017 to June 2019 were included as study objects.According to the different doses of gamma globulin,the children were divided into low-dose group and high-dose group,with 49 cases in each group.The low-dose group was treated with 1 g/kg gamma globulin,and the high-dose group was treated with 2 g/kg gamma globulin.The levels of inflammatory factors before and after treatment,the excellent and good rate of symptom improvement after treatment,adverse reactions and the incidence of coronary artery disease after 1 year of follow-up were analyzed.Results After treatment,the levels of TNF-α,CRP,IL-8 and IL-6 in the two groups significantly decreased,and those in the high-dose group were significantly lower the low-dose group(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of symptom improvement after treatment in the high-dose group was significantly higher than that in the low-dose group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups(P<0.05).After 1 year of follow-up,the total incidence of coronary artery disease in the high-dose group was significantly lower than that in the low-dose group(P<0.05).Conclusion The 2 g/kg gamma globulin has a better effect in the treatment of Kawasaki disease,it can significantly improve the levels of inflammatory factors,reduce the incidence of coronary artery disease,and will not increase the incidence of adverse reactions,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
