Dynamic course of acute pancreatitis and its imaging evaluation

The course of acute pancreatitis (AP) is a dynamic process. The evaluation system of AP severity includes clinical scoring system and imaging scoring system. These two scoring systems can, in varying degrees, evaluate the dynamic course of interstitial edematous pancreatitis and necrotizing pancreatitis. It is of great significance to correctly understand the dynamic course of AP for the early diagnosis and treatment to improve the prognosis and reduce the mortality. The clinical features and imaging manifestations of AP in different stages were reviewed.
