| Abstract: | Percentile clustering analysis was used to study the characteristics of growth in children and adolseents. Standing height, weight, chest circumference and sitting height were used as growth characteristic parameters to calculate rank sum ratio(RSR). Probability units(P) was calculated from the distribution and linear relation of RSR. The linear regression equation which was established from P and PSP was usesd for percentile clustering analysis. The study shows that percentile clustering analysis is applicable to children and adolscents and simpler than fuzzy clustering analysis and will be of value to the workers in child and adolscent health. |
