Insulin glargine join to acarbose with premixed insulin treatment for type 2 diabetes curative effect comparison

Objective Observe Insulin glargine join to acarbose schemes with premixed insulin therapy treatment of type 2 diabetic patients with both safety and efficacy.Methods Selection 2009 November until 2010 July treatment in our hospital 60 cases of oral ucose-lowering medications glycemic control not ideal of type 2 diabetes.Patients were randomly divided into Insulin glargine treatment group group A（n= 32） and premixed insulin group group B（n= 28）,more therapeutic effect.Results Two groups of blood glucose were significantly decreased,insulin glargine group drop more smoothly,blood sugar volatility smaller,hypoglycemia event less.Conclusion Insulin glargine join to acarbose oral glucose-lowering medications treatment of blood glucose control is not ideal type 2 diabetes better blood glucose,blood sugar volatility smaller,hypoglycemic events less,compliance is greatly increased.
