糖尿病性黄斑水肿的分型及中药治疗

A research of diabetic macular edema on classification and therapeutics with traditional Chinese medicine

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the diagnostic criterion of diabetic macular edema and effect of traditional Chinese medicine. METHODS: Diagnostic and typing criterion of diabetic macular edema were established according to findings of retina determined with slit lamp mircoscope and of fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA). One hundred and twenty two patients (216 eyes) with diabetic macular edema were randomly divided into treated group with traditional Chinese medicine and control group. The changes of visual acuity, retinopathy, and feature of FFA were observed in the patients. RESULTS: There was effective rate of 88.18% in the traditional Chinese medicine group, and was 12 26% in the control group. This difference was significant statistically ( P <0 01 ). The changes of visual acuity, retinopathy, feature of FFA, and level of blood glucose was better in the traditional Chinese medicine group than the control group. CONCLUSIONS: Traditional Chinese medicine could be applied in the treatment of diabetic macular edema. Slit lamp microscope and fundus fluorescein angiography redounded to diagnosis and classification of diabetic macular edema.
