| Abstract: | The etiologic association of acute bacterial endocarditis with the Citrobacter species has been rare, although it is one of the opportunistic organisms that afflicts the elderly, neonates, the debilitated and immunocompromised. We report a case of endocarditis due to Citrobacter freundii. |
