国内医院感染管理中的问题与对策

Hospital infection management(HIM)in China: problems and solutions

The paper sums up the major problems in HIM in China. They include: 1.extremely uneven development of HIM, with great differences between various regions; 2.weakening of the professional contingent of HIM workers who find it hard to be devoted to their work and whose work has become a mere formality; 3.need for greater surveillance of the effectiveness of disinfection and sterilization which is a weak link; 4.presence of the irrational use of antibiotics; and 5.outdated concepts concerning HIM. The following solutions are put forward with regard to the above problems: 1. enhancing awareness of the importance of HIM, with unremitting efforts exerted to it as a major part of medical quality and security work; 2.intensifying construction of the HIM contingent so as to improve its quality; 3.seriously implementing regulations regarding HIM; 4.consolidating control of the rational use of antibiotics; 5.further improving disinfection and sterilization; 6.intensifying surveillance of hospital infection; 7.promoting information exchange and interregional exchanges and cooperation; and 8.strengthening training in the knowledge of HIM.
