Analysis of NT-pro BNP,hs-CRP and CA-125 Levels in Patients with Chronic Heart Failure

Objective To investigate the levels of serum NT-pro BNP, high sensitivity C-reactive protein hs-CRP and CA125 in patients with chronic heart failure, and to compare the levels before and after treatment. Methods From January 2019 to December 2020, a total of 82 patients with chronic heart failure admitted to the cardiovascular department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shenyang Medical College were included in the observation group,and 82 healthy people in the same period were included in the control group. The general clinical data, routine blood biochemical indexes were detected, and the serum NT-pro BNP, hs-CRP and CA125 of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results Before treatment, the serum levels of NT-pro BNP, hs-CRP and CA125 in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05). In observation group, the levels of NTpro BNP, hs-CRP and CA125 after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment(P < 0.05). In observation group, serum NT-pro BNP, hs-CRP and CA125 levels in patients with grade Ⅲ and Ⅳ heart function were significantly higher than patients with grade Ⅰ and Ⅱ heart function(P < 0.05). Spearman correlation analysis indicated that the serum levels of NT-pro BNP, hs-CRP and CA125 were positively correlated with cardiac function. Conclusion The levels of NT-pro BNP, hs-CRP and CA125 in patients with chronic heart failure were significantly higher than those in healthy controls, and were positively correlated with the cardiac function grade of the patients. They are potential indicators for disease assessment in patients with chronic heart failure.
